How does photo scoring work?
After a hand, place the leftover tiles on the table and tap Scan hand. Anótalo finds each tile in the photo, counts the pips on both halves and adds them up, all on your iPhone. You see every tile it read and the total before anything is scored.
How do I get a good scan?
- Tiles face up and spread apart, not touching each other.
- All tiles inside the frame, taken from above.
- A table that contrasts with the tiles: dark felt, wood or a black surface work best.
- Even light. Avoid strong glare on the tiles.
A tile says “⚠ Check”. What do I do?
Anótalo marks any tile it isn’t sure about instead of guessing. Tap the tile to fix its numbers, or remove it. You can also add a tile it missed. The total updates before you confirm.
What doesn’t work well yet?
Tiles that touch can be read as one shape and skipped, so keep them apart. Tiles on a white table, and dark tiles with light pips, aren’t supported yet. You can always enter the points by hand with Points.
Can I use a photo I already took?
Yes. On the scan screen, tap the photo button and pick one from your library. Only that photo is shared with the app.
Games and scoring
Which domino sets are supported?
Double-six sets, played by two teams of partners.
What are the game modes?
Classic to 200: first team to 200 wins, no prizes.
To 500 with prizes: first team to 500 wins, and the winners of hands 1 to 4 get a prize of +100, +75, +50 and +25.
How do capicú, chuchazo and blocked games work?
Capicú (winning with a tile that fits either end) and chuchazo (winning with the double blank) each add +100. A hand that is both still gets +100. A blocked game (tranque) is scored without either bonus. Bonuses can be turned off when you start a new game.
What is a chiva?
A game that ends 200–0 or 500–0. Anótalo shows a banner and plays a goat bleat. Turn the sound off in Settings › Chiva sound; the iPhone’s silent switch also mutes it.
I scored a hand by mistake.
Tap Undo at the top of the scoreboard to remove the last hand.
Can I play more than one game at a time?
No, one game is in progress at a time. Starting a new game or a rematch asks whether to keep playing the current one or delete it.
How do I delete games?
Swipe a game in the list, or long-press it and choose Delete game. Clear finished deletes every finished game at once.
App and settings
How do I change the language or appearance?
Open Settings in the app. Language switches between Español and English, whatever language your iPhone uses. Appearance offers System, Light or Dark.
Do my games sync to my other devices?
Not yet. Games are stored only on the iPhone where you play them.
What do I need to run Anótalo?
An iPhone with iOS 17 or later.
